Throughout my life I have been blessed with wonderful family, friends and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I can look back and think of the exact moments that altered my life whether it was a good alteration or a bad one those memories have formed who I am today. I have recently found myself wondering what my life would be like without the standards I have grown to live by and the examples I have come to adore and follow. How blessed am I to be given a life with family that LOVES me, friends that HUMBLE me, and a gospel that STRENGTHENS me?
I was physically strong for myself and for others day in and day out I could do anything, or so I thought. I didn't realize how being spiritually fed had TRULY STRENGTHENED me until I was no longer nurturing my soul. Even then I didn't realize what I was missing until I really listened to the testimonies of others. How was it possible that I could be so strong yet so weak? Those who possess SPIRITUAL strength emit such sweet light. How could I not want that for myself?
Opening my heart to our Savior has been such a profound moment in my life THEE BEST alteration that I have ever made. The truthfulness of the gospel and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are testaments to myself that "Strength is not only a physical thing".. I have heard and
felt the testimonies shared of my brother and his sacrifice for all of mankind. I am strengthened each time I witness his sweet tender mercies. I know that if we search, ponder, and pray he will reveal all things unto us. Never have I questioned my faith in the Lord, but there have definitely been times when I could have turned to him rather than pushing through it alone. The opportunity we have to speak with him at all times has made me realize just how much he loves us and is ALWAYS there. If we cannot speak to him what is the point of speaking at all?

Through the power of prayer and the lessons given by our prophets of old in The Book of Mormon I have been able to draw nearer to our father in Heaven and to the person that I know I can be. I love the gospel with all of my heart and I am thankful for the STRENGTH and GUIDANCE I am given each day I put my FAITH in the Lord. He loves us, he knows us, and he would not lead us astray. Faith in Christ. Who knew it was that simple?
"I know that my redeemer lives" are words that I have said over and over, yet it is only now that I can FEEL and TESTIFY that "I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES!!" He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless,that can never be darkened.. -Mosiah 16:9 I believe in his name he died for us so I will live for him. I know the things which he has taught us are true. I LOVE OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
